Ronaldo won the Champions League with Real Madrid and Euro 2016 with Portugal.

The 31-year-old, who won the award for the first time while at Manchester United in 2008, will be receiving the award for the fourth time; as Lionel Messi, who has won five Ballon d’Or, more than any other player, is expected to get second place in this year’s race.
