Don't fret, Buhari is in competent hands, Minister Lai tells Nigerians

The Minister of Information and Culture on Wednesday told Nigerians not to be worried over President Muhammadu Buhari’s health because he is in competent hands.

Following the seemingly worrying silence on the state of the president’s health by the Presidency since he travelled over three weeks ago, there having been growing concern among many Nigerians of his present state of health.

But Mohammed, speaking to State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, assured that there is nothing to worry about over Buhari’s state of health.

He said, “Once again, I want to make myself very, very clear. On the issue of Mr President, he is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm.”

The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, on Tuesday travelled to London to be with her 74 year old husband, who earlier stayed 49 days in the same place for medical treatment.
