In from Olumide Olaoluwa …
A number of people who bought into a government policy by the Ekiti State government on housing under the former administration of Kayode Fayemi are to lose the houses as the deals have been revoked by the administration of Ayo Fayose.
Amongst them is Mrs. Bolu Fayemi-Ayodele, the sister to former Governor Fayemi and his former Senior Special Assistant on Documentation and Research, Hakeem Jamiu.
The houses are located at Irewolede (Fajuyi) Estate in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
Fayemi-Ayodele received her revocation letter on Thursday, barely 24 hours after the Ekiti State Housing Corporation in a letter by its General Manager, Babasoji Awe, a lawyer, revoked house sale to the Chairman of Irewolede Residents Association, Ayodele Orebe.
Jamiu received a call from the general manager informing him that his revocation letter was ready for dispatch to his house.

Some of the house owners in the estate had earlier gone to court challenging their earlier eviction ordered by the governor on August 16, 2015.
The houses were bought from the housing corporation under a mortgage agreement with Primary Mortgage Institution (PMI) scheme with the payment schedule spanning between 15 and 25 years.
But Fayose, two months ago, gave the house owners one month to pay up or be prepared to lose their houses after ejecting them with a warning to pay up.
They went to court to challenge the action, saying the governor breached payment agreement and violated their fundamental human rights.
