Captain of Syli Stars of Guinea, Ibrahima Bangoura, has declared war on the Super Eagles of Nigeria as both teams battle in the last group game of the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

Nigeria tops Group C with four points and a draw will see the Eagles through but second placed Guinea with two points need an outright win to qualify for the quarterfinal of the competition.

“Many pundits are treating us like underdogs but I believe that is good for us since we have the element of surprise and if at all we can give 100 percent as a team then nothing is impossible when we face Nigeria on Tuesday.

He added that: “We have a job in our hands when we face Nigeria who have been in fine form especially since the first game. They are a superb side with a lot of talented players who can cause trouble at any moment but in football, it’s the 90 minutes that decides a game not mere talk.
