Iyanya romances Jay Z’s Roc Nation

Newly signed Mavin act Iyanya Mbuk may follow in the footsteps of his label mate Tiwa Savage by penning an international record deal with Jay Z’s led label Roc Nation.

The ‘Kukere’ crooner, who is in the United States attending the Africa Business Conference in Georgetown University, suggested that much when he scribbled a message on his Twitter page.

“We #up2sumthin and it’s going to be groundbreaking!!! #TMC #MAVIN #ROC”.

If the deal pulls through, Iyanya will be the latest act on the Roc Nation platform which has offices in London, New York and Los Angeles and is home to international artistes like Big Sean, DJ Khaled and Rihanna among others.
