Court adjourns Seun Egbegbe’s iPhone theft case pending investigations

The Nigerian Police Command has received the consent of a Lagos State court to extend the detention of serial scammer, Seun Egbegbe.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, Seun and his accomplice, Ayodele Oyekan are still in the custody of the Lagos State Police Command.

“He’s still in custody. The Command got the consent of the court for his continued detention so as to allow extensive investigation since he’s a habitual suspect.”

Recall that Seun and his accomplice were arrested on the 2nd of February, 2017 after they were both accused of attempting to swindle $9,000 and £3,000 from two bureau de change operators.

Reports say Seun will appear in court on Wednesday, February 8, in the theft of nine iPhone handsets case of November 22, 2016, even as the music and movie promoter still has more legal worries ahead of him in the near future.
