JUST IN: Aubameyang set for EPL return as Chelsea, Barca reportedly agree deal

Former Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on his way back to the Premier League as Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal with Barcelona.

According to football journalist, Guillem Balague, the Blues have agreed a deal in principle worth £12m, plus defender Marcus Alonso, for Aubameyang,

The Gabonese joined the Spanish giants from Arsenal in January, and scored 13 goals in 24 appearances for the team.

Ripples Nigeria earlier reported the robbery incident suffered by Aubameyang in his home in Barcelona, where himself and wife suffered minor injuries.

The deal with Barcelona in January had a buyout clause of 100m euros, but he has only played eight minutes this season.

If the move to Stamford Bridge pulls through, the 33-year-old one-time African Player of the Year would be Chelsea’s seventh signing this summer.
