ALLEGED CAR THEFT: Naira Marley risks arrest as court threatens bench warrant

Nigerian artiste, Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, is now in police custody.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Hakeem Odumosu, who confirmed this on Monday disclosed that Naira Marley would be charged to court.

The rapper had, against the lockdown and social distancing order of the Lagos State government, attended a birthday party of Abdulrasheed Bello, the husband of Funke Akindele, popularly called Jenifa.

Earlier today, Jenifa and her husband were arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Ogba, Lagos and they pleaded guilty to hosting the party.

They were sentenced to 14 days of community service and fined N100,000 each.
