Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, said on Friday evening the state government would relax the COVID-19 lockdown in the state.

He also confirmed that six coronavirus patients had been discharged from the state isolation centres.

Abiodun, who disclosed this on his Twitter handle, said residents of the state would be allowed to move about from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on April 20, 22 and 24.

The governor said the relaxation of the lockdown order is to afford residents of the state the opportunity to attend to essential activities including businesses, getting of food items and other basic supplies.
