Pop singer Davido has come out to deny the claims of an Ibadan-based girl, Ayotomide Enitan Labinjoh, who told the world that the ‘Dami Duro’ crooner is the father of her 4-year-old daughter named Veronica.

Davido in a series of tweets posted on his time-line noted that a DNA test was earlier taken two years ago when Ayotomide first made the claim, but it turned out that it was negative.

“2 years ago person wey U never see for your life, bring pikin say nah ur own, u take paternity test , it came out negative,’’ Davido posted on Twitter.

In a bid to further clear his name, the music star also tweeted thus; “Upon finding out the test results were negative. Out of pity we still give dem money .yrs later dem no gree say nah my own .chai money good” and “THIS ONE NAH REAL YAHOO GIRL NO LAPTOP!”

The performer whose latest single ‘IF’ is topping major music charts also threatened to sue Punch newspapers for publishing the story. “By the WAY Mobile Punch I’m suing you guys! BOUTTA DOUBLE THAT 30 REAL QUICK!!”

His manager, Asa Asika also added his voice by saying “Davido is not the father of the baby.”

He also informed that Davido will not be willing to undergo another DNA test since the first one proved negative.

“He is not going for another DNA test. After all, a test was conducted and it turned out negative. DNA tests are never wrong.

“Davido had never met her before she showed up at his house claiming that he is the father of her child. She is just an opportunist looking for quick money and fame,’’ Asa added.
