Kemi Olunloyo threatens N2bn suit against 2 media houses

Controversial media personality Kemi Olunloyo has revealed in a recent post on social media that her Port Harcourt prison experience was a badge of honour for her as she left an indelible mark while she was still in detention.

Kemi revealed in the message that she would be returning to her detention camp to take delivery of her gold medal she won from participating in the Port Harcourt Prison Olympics.

“#BREAKING: I receive my gold medal tomorrow from Port Harcourt Prison Olympics. I took part and was called for medal day. Yes I am going back to prison while I’m here for court. That prison was a badge of honour for me! I left an indelible mark there. Watch out for my book #StraightOuttaPHMax coming soon.”

Recall that about a week ago; Kemi shut down her blog and her other social media accounts pending the outcome of the defamation case she is facing with Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries.

The 52-year-old in a post on Instagram said that her @HNNAFRICA handle on twitter and Facebook will be reopened by 2019 when her trial may have been over while also thanking her fans and Linda Ikeji who doled out the sum of N100k to her while she was still in prison for their support.

Last March, Kemi was picked up by security operatives at her Ibadan home and was detained at the Port Harcourt prison for 81 days following a petition written to the Nigerian Police Force by Pastor Ibiyeomie who claimed she defamed him by publishing an alleged adultery story about him which he claim were unfounded.

The journalist who will still appear in court was however released two weeks ago but not after she accused the chief registrar attached to the Port Harcourt Division of the Federal High Court of sitting on her case- an allegation which was outrightly denied by the registrar.
