Salah voted PFA Player for February

Egyptian striker, Mohamed Salah came off the bench to score twice as Liverpool secured a 3-0 victory over Stoke to climb to fifth on Wednesday night.

Senegal winger Sadio Mane had given the Reds a controversial lead just 17 minutes into the game when he dunked the ball into the net after a marginal linesman’s call.

Salah then came off the bench in the second half and doubled their lead on 77 minutes with a searing volley from Mane’s cross, before composing his second of the night when he was gifted a clear run on goal seven minutes to stoppage time.

Salah has now scored 17 goals in 21 appearances for Liverpool since signing from Roma in the summer, and tops the goals chart in the Premier League with 12.

At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal destroyed Huddersfield Town 5-0 to maintain their perfect home record in the Premier League this season.

Goals by Alexandre Lacazette (3′ minutes), Olivier Giroud (68′ minutes and 87′ minutes), Alexis Sánchez (69′ minutes) and Mesut Özil (72′ minutes) gave the Gunners the deserved victory.
