Salah, Shaqiri fire Liverpool past Fulham, back to top of PL

Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri scored to help Liverpool beat Fulham in a Premier League clash at Anfield on Sunday.

Salah opened the scoring in the 41st minute after the visitors had kept their hosts at bay from the start of the game.

Shaqiri, who returned to the team after missing their Champions League outing in Serbia, made it 2-0 on 53 minutes.

The win takes the Reds back to the top of the League table, at least until Manchester City face city rivals United later on Sunday.
