Succor for Sadiq Daba as Nigerians raise N10.5m for his UK treatment

Sadiq Daba confirms suffering relapse after returning from surgery in the UK

Veteran broadcaster and actor Sadiq Daba has received a lifeline and is about now preparing for his treatment in the UK as the sum of N10.5 million has been raised for him to commence medical care abroad.

That much information was made public on the Instagram page of ace broadcaster Soni Irabor who revealed that a total of N10.5m has so far been raised as at Monday, November 20, 2017.

“It’s time to say thanks to you all. Sadiq Daba is set to move out to the UK where he will be starting treatment.”

Soni Irabor who is among those rallying support for the ailing Daba who has been diagnosed with prostrate cancer and leukemia also added that Nigerians should continue to show love to Daba by contributing their widows might towards his treatment.

“While we say thanks, we say please let’s not be stuck midway with this, we still need more from you.

“The account is still up and we look forward to receiving from you. God bless you.”

Daba has worked as a broadcaster for Nigerian Television Authority and came into acting prominence in the late 1970s, when he starred in the now rested TV series titled “Cockcrow at Dawn”.
