Unknown knife man arrested after stabbing 2 cops in Brussels

A yet-to-be identified knife man who stabbed two cops and broke the nose of a third policeman in Brussels has been shot in the leg and arrested by security operatives in Belgium.

The case is now being treated as a possible terror attack as Belgian counter terror prosecutors have stepped in to investigate the stabbing which saw the assailant stab one officers in the neck and another in the stomach before breaking the nose of a third policeman who had arrived at the scene of the incident.

The attacker was shot in the leg and taken away by ambulance, public broadcaster VRT said, adding that the police officers’ wounds were not life-threatening.
