While Olamide, Don Jazzy beef, Lil Kesh greets Reekado

Their bosses may be scratching at each other’s throats and throwing caution to the wing, but the protégés seem to be displaying more maturity and level headedness over the issue, as YBNL rookie Lil Kesh has congratulated Mavin act Reekado Banks for emerging winner of the Next Rated category at the recently staged Headies awards.

In the spirit of good sportsmanship, Lil Kesh congratulated Reekado Banks via his Twitter handle in a post saying; “Congrats on your Next Rated award @ReekadoBanks. This will not be the end of both of us. More blessings and nothing but love.

In his reply, Reekado Banks tweeted saying; “Thanks Kesh. You are the man.”

The brewing drama over the Next Rated category of the Headies awards which is the most coveted among upstarts in the music industry has seen Olamide apologise for his outburst at the annual awards which honours indigenous hip hop artists.

A number of people and organisations also weighed in on the beef, as the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) also tweeted that they were ready to ‘take the trash’ in 2016, arising from Olamide’s tweet “leave trash for LAWMA”.
