Co- convener of the BBOG campaign and activist, Aisha Yesufu has slammed Burna Boy in a video for saying Nigerians will suffer if they didn’t channel the same energy they used in calling out Funke Akindele to calling out corrupt leaders.

In the video, the Kano born activist supported the fact that Nigerian youths had called out the actress, Funke Akindele adding that he could take a “dive” anywhere if he had a problem with it.

“You don’t have any right to insult our sensibilities. Yes, one of you has done something wrong, that person would be called out and if you have a problem with it, take a dive anywhere you want to take a dive” she said.

“If you think you have some fancy toys and some houses making you believe you would not suffer, na poverty all of us dey. No be Naija, dem go carry light, you must put on gen. Na poverty! You get borehole, no running water, na poverty!” She said

She wrote as she shared the video: “All these Naija celebrities dey allow the plenty zeros wey dem account dey show dey decieve them! Divide by 360 and 490 and humble yourself. In case you don’t know, every Nigerian is a poor person! We live poorly! You will still drive your toys on bad roads and put on your generator!”

Recall that Burna Boy took to his Instagram page on Wednesday after the fire outbreak at the Accountant Generals office to say Nigerians deserved their leaders and would suffer if they don’t call them out with the same energy they had called out Funke Akindele.
