Angry youths attack police patrol team over ‘unprovoked’ killing of man in Anambra (Video)

Angry youths in Nkpor, Anambra State, Wednesday attacked policemen with a substance suspected to be acid following the killing of a young man earlier in the day.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the enraged youths were seen matching down to a police station in the community before some police officers in a patrol van were attacked with the substance.

The spokesman of the state police command, Haruna Mohamed, told journalists that some youths allegedly attacked members of a police patrol team with a substance suspected to be acid.

He, however, said efforts have been made to restore normalcy to the area. Watch the video below:
