Four goals from Desire Oparanozie and a brace from Asisat Oshoala secured the win for the Super Falcons on Monday.

The team will now begin preparations towards the 2018 AWCON as they will be defending the title they won at Cameroon in 2016.

They defeated the Indomitable Lionesses, hosts of the tournament, in the final of that edition to claim their eighth African title.

The 2018 edition will be hosted by Ghana and it kicks off in November. The continental showpiece will also serve as qualifiers for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
