Serena Williams pregnant with first baby

Following her absence at Indian Wells and Miami Open, Tennis superstar Serena Williams has revealed that she is pregnant with her first baby on Snapchat.

The 35-year-old American, who won the Australian Open earlier this year, wore a yellow swimsuit to announce the news on Wednesday, and confirmed she’s 20 weeks along.

Recall that in December, the world no. 2 announced she is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

It’s been an incredible few months for the 23-time Grand Slam champion, who moved beyond Steffi Graf’s record number of majors after winning the first Slam of the year – beating her sister Venus in the final.

As well as confirming her engagement at the start of 2017, after Ohanian popped the question in December, she’s now set to return to world No. 1 on Monday, despite not playing in recent weeks.

However, Williams has since deleted the Snapchat. Below was her post:
