Super Eagles forward, Isaac Success was an unused substitute for Watford in their 2-1 home victory over Leicester City in a Premier League clash on Sunday.

Compatriots, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action for the Foxes, who fought back from a goal down but could not hold on to the point.

A 92nd-minute winner by substitute Andre Gray inflicted a defeat on Brendan Rodgers on his debut as Leicester boss.

The hosts had gone ahead early in the first half through a Troy Deeney goal, before Jamie Vardy levelled for his side on 75 minutes.

With the win, the Hornets move level on points with seventh-placed Wolves, while Leicester remain 11th.

It’s the Foxes’ seventh defeat in 10 league games – a run for which they sacked former boss, Claude Puel last week.

“I thought after going behind so early we regrouped and had some good moments,” Brendan Rodgers said after the game.

“At half-time we reinforced about some issues around the speed of our game but I thought the play was excellent.

“It looked like only one team would win the game. When we had an opportunity it was a great pass from Youri [Tielemans] and Jamie [Vardy] does what he does.

“You felt Watford were getting deeper and the opportunities were coming for us.

“We started to get into really good areas and the goal at the end is a case of managing the game.

“It is something that will get better as we work together. I was pleased with the spirit of the team.”
