Master of ceremony mistaken for Badoo cult member burnt to death

A fast rising master of ceremony (MC) identified as Chinedu Paul aka MC Think2wice is no more after he was burnt alive by an irate mob in Ikorodu who mistook him for a member of the Badoo cult group terrorising the area.

Reports say the MC who is an undergraduate of the Lagos State Polytechnic was on his way back from IK Ogbonna’s talk show late at night when he was accosted by residents of the area who have now been keeping vigil due to incessant attacks by Badoo cult group members.

Chinedu was mobbed and burnt to death because he couldn’t convince the crowd about his identity and none of the residents knew him or where he lived in the area where he was nabbed.

Two days ago, one of the Badoo gang members was nabbed by a vigilante team while the other two took to their heels.

The suspect was detained till about 6am while the vigilante team and other residents interrogated him before the arrival of a team of armed Policemen who got wind of the situation and later arrived the scene.

However, residents refused the cops from taking away the suspect for fear that the police would later release. The cult member was later handed jungle justice as he was burnt alive.
