Osinbajo meets with govs on how to end herdsmen killings

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is meeting with some governors who are members of the committee recently set up by the National Economic Council ( NEC) to find lasting solution to herdsmen’s killings across the country.

The closed door meeting holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, had in attendance governors of Adamawa, Ebonyi, Plateau, Kaduna, and Zamfara states, and the deputy governors of Benue and Oyo states.

The committee is believed to be deliberating on the growing killings by suspected Fulani herdsmen across the country, especially in Adamawa, Benue, Taraba, Plateau and Nasarawa states and means of ending the menace.
