I have no record of witch-hunting, I’m too godly to think evil against anyone– Okorocha

Presidential Support Committee (PSC) has denied reports that it gave the Adams Oshiomhole led National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) a 48-hour ultimatum to lift suspension of Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha from the ruling party.

APC’s NWC had recently suspended Okorocha and his Ogun State counterpart, Ibikunle Amosun, from the party and recommended for their expulsion over their alleged anti-party activities.

A report credited to one Ejikeme Ugwa, Robert Ngwu and Maxwell Okoye had claimed that the PSC has asked the APC to within 48 hours restore Okorocha as a member of the party.

But responding in a statement, director of media and publicity of PSC, Engineer Kailani Muhammad, said the report credited to the trio was fake and was not written on behalf of the committee.

“PSC was set up primarily to compliment the effort of the party to ensure the re-election of the President Muhammadu Buhari and all other candidates contesting under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that is why the Support Committee is not in any way having conflict with the party, its leadership or decisions.

“While we disclaimed them in totality as impersonator, who have no authority to act or speak on behalf of PSC, we warn the general public to disregard them and avoid working or relating with them in any capacity on behalf of PSC,” Mohammed said.
