STATE OF THE NATION: Charlyboy set to lead topless nationwide march against FG

Ex-PMAN President and social crusader Charles Oputa better known as Charlyboy is set to lead a shirtless demonstration against the Federal Government come June 12, 2017 to sensitise the public on the state of the nation and the poor living conditions of Nigerians.

The protests initiated by social reformation group “ Ourmumudondo” has concluded plans for the nationwide civil protest and in a statement issued by Adebayo Raphael, the Publicity Secretary of the group, the protests will be hinged on a vociferous and vigorous demand for fulfillment of campaign promises, creation of jobs for unemployed youths, and increment in minimum wage by the government of the day.

“The nationwide topless march will be staged to protest the despicable state of living of the common man and the indifference of political leaders to the quandary of the common man. We are using this medium to call on all vexed, frustrated, and genuinely concerned Nigerians to come out to join the demonstrations on Monday, 12 June 2017.”

Reports say the main march will hold in Lagos State and will start at the Third Mainland Bridge by 8:00am and male participants at the protest are expected to appear topless with inscriptions of their most dreadful predicament as it relates to the three major demands for this mass action on their placards or chest.

However, female participants are not allowed to participate bare-chested but can participate by hoisting placards with inscriptions of their most dreadful predicament.

    I really salute Charly Biy’s courage, he’s the only entertainer who’s doing what he’s doing. He really sacrificing a lot for the youths and tackling this government seriously. One day his efforts shall be crowned!

      What nonsense courage are you saluting? Somebody is disturbing our peace you’re saluting him. Who send some him to go and be protesting on behalf of the youths? He should be locked up tomorrow if he tries any nonsense

    One good thing about Charley Boy is that ,he is as bold and brave as a lion unlike 2face who incited people for a protest but later back out.

      Charley Boy is a grand father but 2face is still small and won’t want to be locked up in prison. And as a matter of fact, Charley Boy has back up as his father made giant stride in the country
